Part-Time Human Resources Manager (Local Hire Only) — Travel 2x/month

Location: Based in The Bahamas (Nassau/Family Islands) • Travel: to island property at least 2x per month
Engagement: ~20–25 hours/week • Retainer

Local Hire Requirement
This role is open to Bahamian citizens or permanent residents only. No international relocation or sponsorship is available.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with our agency on workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and training (hourly and management).

  • Maintain policies, employee relations, investigations, and performance/disciplinary processes; advise and coach managers.

  • Oversee payroll inputs, time & attendance, leave management, NIB coordination, and benefits administration.

  • Liaise on immigration/work-permit matters in line with Bahamas regulations and timelines.

  • Champion culture, service standards, compliance, and accurate personnel records/HRIS.

  • Produce concise HR reporting for GM/Ownership.

What You Bring

  • 6–8+ years HR generalist/manager experience; hospitality or multi-site operations preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Bahamian employment practices, impeccably discreet, organized, and proactive.

  • Comfortable balancing on-island days with remote work; able to travel at least twice per month.

  • Excellent communication, training facilitation, and stakeholder management.

Schedule & Package

  • ~20–25 hours/week with flexible scheduling around island travel.

  • Competitive monthly retainer; expense-paid travel for required site visits.
