Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled I.T. Assistant Manager to support and enhance the daily technology operations of our luxury island resort. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining IT infrastructure, providing end-user support, assisting with system upgrades, and ensuring seamless connectivity and digital security across all departments and guest-facing services.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the resort’s full I.T. infrastructure including servers, networks, POS systems, and communication tools.
Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support to staff and operational departments (e.g., Front Desk, F&B, Housekeeping, Admin).
Ensure stable and secure internet, Wi-Fi, and telecommunications services for both guests and staff.
Support cybersecurity protocols, backups, and data protection measures.
Assist with system installations, updates, and maintenance of all hardware and software platforms.
Train resort staff on technology tools and systems to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Liaise with vendors and service providers for system maintenance and equipment procurement.
Help manage IT inventory, licensing, and documentation.
Provide on-call support for critical issues as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in an I.T. support or technician role; prior experience in hospitality or resort environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), VoIP, and server maintenance.
Familiarity with PMS, POS, and hospitality management systems is a plus (e.g., Opera, Micros).
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to live and work on a remote island full-time.
