Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Office Director to lead the front-of-house operations at this exclusive property. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, guest relations, and team management. The successful candidate will ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure, while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the front office team, including reception, concierge, reservations, and guest services.

  • Develop and implement SOPs to ensure seamless daily operations and consistent guest satisfaction.

  • Foster a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the property’s luxury brand and Bahamian hospitality.

  • Oversee guest check-in/check-out processes, billing accuracy, and room assignments.

  • Manage room inventory and coordinate closely with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments.

  • Handle guest feedback, special requests, and VIP services with discretion and professionalism.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front office staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

  • Ensure full compliance with all hotel policies, health & safety standards, and local laws.

  • Report directly to the General Manager and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in front office leadership roles within luxury hotels or resorts.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing hospitality teams.

  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) – e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.

  • Experience working in remote or island environments is a plus.

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
